Brett van Son

Being actively involved in the property market since he was 18, Brett has had experience across all types of real estate including residential, strata, investment properties, inner-city apartments, off-the-plan apartments, farming properties, commercial and vacant land.

When asked what he enjoys most about his work, Brett said “The property industry is so varied. There are opportunities everywhere and the people involved are very diverse – no day is the same!”.

As a Perth local, Brett believes that Perth has so much to offer. With a keen interest in sustainable futures and cafe lifestyles, he is eager to combine this knowledge and experience into his role at Abel Property.

Aside from real estate, Brett has a big passion for journeying to far-flung places to meet interesting people and understanding who they are and how they live unique lifestyles in some of the most interesting landscapes on Earth. A recent journey was exploring the last frontier of Alaska, chasing bears and salmon to living in Mongolia in Ger huts, eating fresh off the land, drinking Yaks milk and listening to witch doctors high in the mountains.
