Kent has been selling real estate for more than 21 years. Starting at L.J Hooker Ballina, under the guidance of his father Michael Shay, he was able to learn what it takes to be a successful agent. The opportunity to help people purchase their dream home and working hard to exceed sellers expectations is a position that Kent takes very seriously.
In July 2003 when the company expanded to Lennox Head, Kent took the opportunity to become Licensee.
The Lennox office has a team of committed staff which Kent is very proud of both within the office and their efforts within the Lennox community.
In his rare time away from the office, Kent enjoys spending time with his wife Angela and four children, loves a BBQ and misguidedly supporting The Newcastle Knights. His other big passion is cricket and whilst no longer playing, is a dedicated member of the Tintenbar East Ballina Cricket Club – Up The Bar!
