With over 25 years business experience, Director Maria Harms has been involved in a variety of property transactions as purchaser, developer, vendor and investor. Maria grew up on grain and cattle properties around the Emerald area and upon leaving school pursued a tertiary education obtaining a Bachelor of Business. She went further with her studies and as a young woman obtained the qualification of Chartered Accountant, working in public practice for 15 years and operating her own Chartered Accountancy business for the last nine of those.
Maria has worked alongside her husband Rod for 26 years and together they have operated Rod Harms Rural selling a vast variety of both high and medium value properties. Maria is proud to call Yeppoon home and enjoys time-out in the bush at their family get-a-way at Stanwell.
Maria’s natural empathy and strong leadership plays a fundamental role in the day-to-day success of the business.
