Margaret Black

Margaret has over 19 years’ experience with Ray White Rural Atherton and purchased the business in 2008 (prior to that she was the office manager). Margaret was awarded Administrator of the Year in 2003 and 2005 and the Ray White Community Service Award in 2013. Margaret has extensive experience in Real Estate Sales, Auctions and Property Management. Having lived on cattle stations in North Qld, the Gulf Country, the NT and Sarawak Malaysia helps Margaret have an understanding of the needs faced with rural lifestyle. Margaret has lived in Atherton for the last 25 years and has extensive knowledge of the Atherton Tablelands.

Margaret has over 30 years voluntary community work at a local, State and National level. Margaret has held several positions on the Atherton Maize Festival Committee. Margaret was awarded a member (AM) in the general division of the order of Australia and was recognised for ‘significant service to education, through leadership and governance roles, and to the fostering of improved learning outcomes for students.’
