Donald McKillop

Donald McKillop commenced his real estate career in 1992 as a wide eyed, young and enthusiastic sales person at EJ Doherty Niddrie.

When EJ Doherty opened in Taylors Lakes, Donald transferred offices and was the first sales person

employed. He left the industry for a short period but soon returned when he realised where his passion lie. Donald returned to EJ Doherty Taylors Lakes where he remained during the company’s merger with Barry Plant Real Estate. Today Donald is one of the longest standing staff members in the group.

Donald is the perfect example of an individual who has come up through the ranks, starting as a young sales person, becoming an auctioneer and moving into a management position. In 2003, Donald realised his dream of owning his own franchise when he opened the doors of the Werribee office.

He has since expanded the Barry Plant brand by opening the Tarneit office with his now business partner Rick O’Halloran in 2012, further enhancing the red carpet experience in the city of Wyndham.

Since opening Werribee and Tarneit, Donald has built extremely successful businesses. Market leaders in the City of Wyndham, Barry Plant Werribee and Tarneit have won a number of awards and are consistent performers in the networks top 10 offices.

Donald’s aim is to be the best, not the biggest, and he is certainly realising that goal.
