What do you love best about life in St George?


It’s the best of all worlds. Close to the city, near some stunning beaches, plenty of natural amenity and great infrastructure. I like to keep active so I take advantage of the high-end gyms, healthy lifestyle cafes and I love heading to the beach whenever possible.


How has the local property market evolved over the years?


Demand for local homes has never been stronger, so there are some real opportunities for vendors, but the relative value of the St George area means there’s significant potential for purchasers as well, especially with interest rates at historical lows. The prevailing housing supply shortage will keep prices buoyant, so the future for the market looks bright. Since the pandemic, real estate has been Australia’s top performing asset.


Real estate is dynamic and the market changes day-to-day. What are some of the fundamentals that always ring true?


There are always curve balls so you have to be nimble, don’t get over-awed, and instead take a solution-based approach. Don’t dwell on what’s gone wrong, focus on making it right. That’s what our customers rely on us to do. Real estate is about perseverance, a commitment to self-improvement, all through the lens of what’s best for the customer.


What’s the best part about your job?


It’s a fast-paced career in which effort reaps reward. If you’re willing to put in the work, the benefits of long-term relationships and life-long customers are attainable. I’m fortunate to work with people from different walks of life across diverse properties, from neat and functional $600,000 apartments to $20 million sites. The numbers vary but it all comes back to the satisfaction you get from making a customer happy.
