Shane Trimby has had over twenty years experience of owning his own business's in Cairns and over 20 years of selling Real Estate. Shane so far has sold hundreds and hundreds of properties in the Cairns, Redlynch and Brinsmead area.
Shane attends Australian Real Estate Conference’s, national and international training courses and numerous online training courses. Shane has resided in Cairns since 1977, and was schooled at St Augustine's College.
Shane lives in Redlynch with his wife & children.
In 1980 Shane embarked on a career as a licensed plumber, working on such buildings as The Aquarius, Pacific, Hilton, Cairns Base Hospital and hundreds of houses in and around the Cairns environs.
Shane owned several of his own businesses in Cairns for over the last twenty years.
During the 1990’s Shane owned and operated six restaurants and two takeaways, and employed over forty staff. In 1999, Shane ran in the local Cairns City Council elections, although not winning, he gained 23% of the vote in Division 7.
From 1995 until 2002, Shane was the Chairperson of the Cairns Venue Managers Association, which was instrumental in the improvement of the safety of late night inner city patrons.
Shane was a committee member on the Cairns Safety Action Committee for 7 years, which was chaired by the Mayor.
In 2007 Shane started the Facebook group "Redlynch Residents" which has helped save countless dogs, cats and other pets as well as being an integral part of the Redlynch community.
Shane often achieves being the number one agent for the Cairns Property Office group and is often ranked as the number one agent within the industry for the Redlynch and surrounding areas.
Shane is involved with the Redlynch Valley Community Group, which organises the Redlynch Community Markets, The Tunnel Of Terror for Halloween in Redlynch and other movies nights and events in Redlynch.
He loves scaring the kids (and some parents) in the Tunnel Of Terror.
2014 to present, Shane has been on the committee of the Cairns Harley Owners Group and organises the web site and social media of the group.
