Located on the edge of the Birdwood township in Adelaide Hills, Warwick Estate Vineyard offers 119.6 hectares of vines in their prime.

For the last seven years, it has been lovingly tended to by the Mattschoss family, headed by Craig Mattschoss.

“Sauvignon blanc and Chardonnay are our most popular varieties,” Mr Mattschoss said.

“We have had impressive yields and that’s got much to do with the water available on the property.”

The vineyard has a massive 250meg dam that takes centrestage on the property.

Ray White Woodside & Coonalpyn principal Angus Campbell said the vineyard has had robust annual harvests and has potential to grow further.

“Last year’s yield of more than 1,560 tonnes is expected to be matched in 2022 and all signs point to an above average vintage,” said Mr Campbell.

“It’s not often that parcels this big come on the market as a whole.

“Warwick Estate has been brought to market at this time to allow buyers the option of participating in the 2022 harvest and securing immediate and significant returns on their investment.”

Set in a picturesque location that offers panoramic views of rolling hills, the vineyard has an easy terrain with machinery access throughout.

The owners have in place reliable water reticulation and control as well as frost mitigation systems.

The vineyard has good frontage to the River Torrens on the 7-acre pump-house section of the title that lies on the opposite side of Torrens Valley Road.

There’s also a three-bedroom manager’s residence on the property.

“The vineyard has supply contracts in place and we are seeing a lot of international buyer interest as well,” said Mr Campbell.
