“It is situated only a short stroll through to the iconic Four Mile Beach or to the renowned Palmer Sea Reef Golf Course, and a short drive to the cosmopolitan town centre.”

The land has private beach access through a designated beach entry point.

It has approval for a resort-style mixture of 46 one bedroom hotel resort suites, 86 one bedroom apartments, 10 two bedroom dual key apartments and seven three bedroom resort villas.

The approval extends to facilities including a restaurant, bar and pool bar, day spa, reception and offices, function centre, and lagoon style pool with sandy beaches.

Mr Flinn said other options for the land, subject to council approval, included subdividing, a large villa development, hotel or extensive home site.

The land is for sale via formal offer to purchase, closing on December 20.
