The newly designer and yet to be built café (opening September 21) will include a fully equipped kitchen and is fully furnished cafe, with 40 seats outside terrace dining and 40 seats inside dining.
The café will be a modern and smart casual venue offering a fresh on trend café style and grab and go food and drink (Liquor too) offering, catering to the students, staff and the local community, with in house catering and function options to be discussed as required, around community and students’ needs.
BKI will pay outgoings: gas, electricity, water, one nightly clean of the venue (not including furniture, equipment or the kitchen) night security and general rubbish removal.
BKI is seeking a local experienced café operator who could operate this café solo or as a satellite business, additional to their existing café, under a “License to Occupy” agreement or 3+ years (TBN) at a negotiated revenue share, after a free 12 month period allowing for set up. The operator will be responsible for suppling the brand name, staff, food, drinks and loose operating equipment required to deliver their offer, with no ingoing payment required. Just walk in, set up, supply and install your choice of coffee machine and beans, and open the doors.
Under a “License to Occupy” agreement, there is no ingoing fee or charge payable by the operator for the purchase of the agreement, fit out or equipment supplied.
The café operator will own the business and all IP in the business, including;
· employee all of the café employees;
· enter into all supply agreements in its own name; and
· operate its own books and hold all financial accounts in its own name.
