The Campus comprises of the College of Tourism and Hospitality as well as SBIT. There are approximately 30,000 students enrolled in over 260 programs, 2,700 of those are international students (Source: QLD Government Department of Education, Capability Statement for South Bank Institute of Technology). It is estimated up to 9000 students are on campus daily, plus significant foot traffic through Ernest Street from the surrounding areas. On-campus activity is expected to increase significantly with the proposed consolidation of the Queensland TAFE sector in 2014.

The on campus retail precinct is located around the Ernest Street shared pedestrian road in the middle of the campus. The last remaining tenancy is 153sqm and we would consider sub-dividing it. Suitable users for the precinct include (but not limited to) takeaway food options and service based retailers to cater to campus students and staff (pharmacy, allied health electronic goods, financial institutions).
