A State Significant Development Application (SSDA) is likely to be lodged in April 2018 to allow for a total gross floor area (GFA) of approximately 94,250sqm. Initial concepts show an indicative yield of around 1,100 dwellings (85,250sqm GFA) and around 9,000sqm GFA of retail, and non-residential floor space. Within this yield, there will be a requirement to provide a minimum 5% of rental Affordable Housing managed for a minimum of 10 years by a Community Housing Provider or owned by a Community Housing Provider.
The proximity of the new Metro Station and onsite commuter car park will offer great amenities and convenient services for local residents and workers. Frequent trains will take approximately 37 minutes from Cudgegong to Chatswood from 2019 and Cudgegong to Martin Place in approximately 48 minutes from 2024.
